Jogging on a treadmill doesn't put less stress on your knees than jogging on asphalt or a pavement. But what's important is to wear a real good pair of jog shoes and branded sports wear. You need to be motivated to spend your time on keeping yourself fit.

Some fantastic brands are Reebok, Nike and Addidas. An aerobic workout boosts your metabolism hours after you stop. But calorie burn is not significant. It's all about the math anyway with calories. Lesser calorie intake and more fibre intake is the key.

It is ideal to have your body working out even when your not working out. The only way to do that is to keep fit, introduce more fibre in your diet and consume lesser number of calories.

Warm up before you start any exercise. Stretch, warm up and then begin your workout. Your exercise graph should be on a gradual climb and gradual descend.

Don't overstrain yourself at any point or overdo any diet or workout cause you will end up bingeing and may even stop working out. Do everything in moderation and you will see a definite change.
